Frank Grasso has composed an important cantata that takes into account the whole Christmas story–the joy, wonder, and mystery of the birth of the Christ Child as well as the fear, despair, and violence unleashed by a threatened Herod. I found "Behold The Moment" to be both inspirational and engaging.  It is the story of the magnificent birth of Christ and then the cruelty of King Herod that followed. The use of inspiring christian music and imagery created an enjoyable and dramatic experience for me.  It left me with a sense of the true meaning of Christmas and the struggles of our christian heritage. The classical Christmas Canata called “Behold the Moment”, written and scored by Frank Grasso is TRUELY a masterpiece of music and storytelling. In listening to this Christmas Canata , it brought me back to my years as a student at St. Joseph’s Catholic grade school ( Babylon, NY) and hearing the story of the Birth of Jesus and King Herrod’s Attempt at killing Jesus. The mix of Rock, Classic music in this Fascinating piece of history will appeal to a wide audience of Religious people.
